What happens if I reach my search/token limit?

Overview

Your access won’t break, but depth/rate may throttle. You can optimize usage or upgrade.

What to know:

• Tokens meter high-cost actions (advance data fields and enrichment)

• When over limits:

  • You may see reduced enrichment or rate limits.

  • Core search continues (as per fair usage policy)

• Visibility: usage dashboard + threshold alerts.

• Paths: optimize filters; schedule exports; request temporary boost; upgrade plan.

Steps

1. Open Account & Setup → Tokens & Usage to check usage or set limits

2. Tighten filters (date, geo, industry) to prevent token leaks

3. Save events of interest to prevent duplicate token usage (specially when being used as a team)

4. Save search as tracker - only see new/updated events since last login

Tips

• Save recurring logic as Trackers (efficient delta updates).

• Avoid “global + no date” queries; start narrow, then expand.

• Export only the fields you need; archive CSVs to avoid re-pulls.
