How can I track competitor footprint and company presence with Trends?

Company-focused trends show where your competitors are active, how often they sponsor or exhibit, and what share of attention they’re capturing at events.


  • Competitor footprint: See the events your competitors prioritize, and how frequently they appear in each category.

  • Share of voice: Compare presence across industries and regions.

  • Budget signals: Frequent sponsorship or repeated participation can signal heavy investment in certain markets.

  • Early-stage note: Company trend mapping is still maturing - treat it as directional intelligence, not exact spend figures.


Steps

  1. In Trends, select Company View.

  2. Enter competitor names or filter by industry.

  3. See aggregated presence across regions, industries, or event types.

  4. Export insights to benchmark against your own plan.


Tips

  • Use this as prep for executive reviews or board decks - it shows how your strategy stacks up.

  • Great for spotting whitespace (where competitors aren’t yet active).
